Olive tree is known as the Tree of Life due to its benefits for the mankind from ancient times up to nowadays. Olive wood is very hard, strong and long-lasting. Heartwood is a cream or yellowish brown, with darker brown wavy grains. The handcrafted Olive Backgammon with side racks is available in 3 sizes. The playing field is a combination of olive wood with wenge & mahogany points.
This backgammon is handmade using the art of marquetry (also spelled as marqueterie) which is the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns and designs.
Our skillful staff use this method in order to create the interior design of the backgammon.
